Softball Field Directions

Albany Ave: Take Sunrise Highway to Wellwood Ave -- go south to very first traffic light -- bear right onto New York Ave. to 34th Street -- make a right on 34th Street -- take to Albany Avenue, make a left & take to the Albany Avenue School.

Alleghany: Belmont Ave. south over Little East Neck over Rte. 109 to Hoffman Ave. (RR Trestle/CVS Drug Store/Old Arcadian Gardens site). Make right to Delaware Avenue (fire house on left) -- make left to Bond Street. Make right on Bond St. straight into school. Field is on the right side of the school.

Amityville: Behind the North Amityville Pool on New Highway south of Route 109.

Amityville Beach Field: Sunrise Highway west to Bayview Avenue (Red Lobster on the corner). Take Bayview Avenue south. As you cross over Merrick Road (Montauk Highway) Bayview Avenue turns into South Bayview Avenue. Take South Bayview Avenue to the park. The softball field will be the first field you see (north west field).

Babylon (Ralph North): Ralph Avenue north of Park Avenue between the two schools (Park Avenue is off of Deer Park Avenue by the Dairy Barn).

Babylon Town Hall Softball Field: Softball field is the one closest to the RR tracks.

Bay Shore: (same as Gardiner) Sunrise Highway east to Manor Lane (by Sterns). South on Manor Lane to Panataquit Drive (first street on the left). Panataquit Drive east to the fields.

Beach Middle School – take Sunrise Higway to Higbie Lane – go south on Higbie Lane -- cross over Union Boulevard and make a left onto Sherman Avenue -- take to school – once at the school go to the right and pull around the rear of the school.

Bellew Fields: Fields are on the right in front of the West Islip High School on Higbie Lane.

Casamento: Sunrise Highway west to exit 40. Go north on Udall Road. At first light make a right onto Muncey Road. After you go under the overpass of the Robert Moses Causeway, your first left will take you into Casamento Park. Softball Field is on the left front corner.

Cedar Road: Commack Road over Jericho Turnpike. Go about 1 to 2 miles to Cedar Road (3 streets north of Burr Road). Make left onto Cedar Road to the fields.

Ellwood Field: - first right at church - Greenlawn Road - 1st traffic light is Little Plains Road make right go past 2 lights ¼ on left is Elwood Park (if 3 traffic lights, too far)

Fireman’s Park: Sunrise Hwy to Wellwood Ave. -- south on Wellwood Avenue to Easton St. (2 blocks north of John St.) -- left on Easton St. to Fireman’s Park.

Frost: Take Deer Park Avenue to Old Country Road -- make a left onto Old Country Road and take it all the way down about 1 ½ miles to the intersection -- Robert FROST School is right at the intersection.

Gardiner: (same as Bay Shore) Sunrise Highway east to Manor Lane (by Sterns). South on Manor Lane to Panataquit Drive (first street on the left). Panataquit Drive east to the fields.

Locust: (Babylon) Take Park Avenue to 1st traffic light -- make left onto North Carll Avenue --- make 1st right onto Locust Avenue.

Niagra: Sunrise Hwy. to Monroe Ave. (RR Trestle/McDonald’s by Town Hall) -- make left onto Monroe and go 1 ½ blocks to the school field.

Northport Fields: Take 231 north and bear to the right after the Northern State Parkway. About one mile up the road turns into Jericho Turnpike. Immediately get into the left lane and make the left onto Elwood Road (at the first major intersection -- a Shell gas station is on the corner). Take Elwood Road for 4 miles. Cross over Rte. 25A (Texaco Station) onto Reservoir Avenue. At stop sign at bottom of hill, make left onto Church Street. Follow Church Street, cross over Main Street onto Ocean Avenue. Go about a ¼ mile and make a left onto Steers Avenue. At bottom of hill, make first right onto Clipper. Steers Park is at the end. The softball field is the one closest to the parking lot.

Pine Acres: Deer Park Ave. north past Sons of Italy Lodge -- at traffic light make a right onto Old Country Road -- follow to fields which are on the right.

Santapogue: Rte. 27 (Sunrise Highway) to Little East Neck Road -- go north -- look for Herzel Blvd. on the left -- make left -- about ¾ mile down look for school on the right (by a flashing light just before the fire station on the left) -- the field is in the back of school).

Sawyer: Belmont Ave. south to the Dairy Barn -- left at traffic light onto Sawyer Ave and go ½ mile to fields.

Silo, Commack: Deer Park Avenue to Commack Rd - go over Jericho Turnpike which turns into Town Line Rd -- at the 3rd light make a right onto Scholar Lane -- at the 2nd right turn onto Silo.

Sump: - Tri-Village Complex at the corner of Broadway & Polaski Road in Greenlawn. Take Deer Park Ave and stay to the left where it splits north of the Northern State Parkway -- cross over Jericho Turnpike and make a right at the 1st traffic light (a church is at the light) onto Greenlawn Road (this turns into Broadway) - make a right and go down 2 traffic lights -- look for field by the sump.

Tanner Park: Rte. 27 to Great Nck Road. South on Great Neck Road to Montauk Highway/Merrick Road. Go west and make left on Baylawn Avenue (very first street on the left). Tanner Park is at the very end.

Westbrook School: 4 blocks south of Sunrise Highway on Higbie Lane, West Islip. Park in the rear of the school -- the fields are all the way in the back of the school.

West Islip Beach Field: Take 231 to Montauk Highway east. Go past Good Samaritan Hospital and make a right at the traffic light onto Beach Drive. The fields are on the left at the end.

Wicks: Take Commack Road north -- pass under the Northern State Parkway -- go past the Commack Library (will be at the 2nd traffic), then look for CVS -- make a left onto Wicks Road, go 100 yards past second stop sign, the fields are on the left.

Udall Middle School – Take Sunrise Higway to Udall Road – go north on Udall Road about one mile – school is on the left – once at the school, go in the back and the field is all the way in the rear straight ahead.
